OMG!! THIS IS HUGE!!!!! I received an email from my Etsy developer account just a bit ago with the following message: 

 Do you know what this means!!???!!!! We are FINALLY getting the ability to setup our personalization fields the way we NEED them!!! THIS IS EPIC in so many ways!! Even allow them to do file uploads??!!

The migration window starts today (thanks for the heads up Etsy) and runs until April 9th. It looks like they are aiming for a general release in late April or May...

So we will be able to add multiple questions/types for personalization!!!

1. This will change what we can do with automated personalization! Imagine having a template for a mug design that takes a photo. You could have them upload the photo and automatically put it right in the template and render it for production! Not like thats the best use case, but its the first thing that popped in my mind.
2. You could ask for specific data like address in one field. Names in another. Stuff like that! I can't wait to start playing with this! As we get into it and start making changes and can see what it all looks like on our test account, I will take as many loom vids and screenshots as I can so you can all see it along the way.
